Key Accountabilities:
As a Risk Manager, you will be part of the PMO (Project Management Office) and be responsible for driving risk management and implementing standardised processes.  In the role of Risk Manager, you will report to the PMO Manager.

• Implementing and managing the processes of risk management within the project
• Setting up and maintaining a project risk register
• Creating and maintaining risk response plan templates and other documentation
• Creating a project risk strategy; write the risk management plan for the project
• Identifying best practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools and templates
• Facilitate Risk Management and follow up on Risk Response planning within the different project packages
• Preparing risk reports and analyses to support management in decision making
• Communicating the risk strategy within the project as well as to shareholders
• Frequent risk reporting to management
• Training risk owners in risk management and proactively work in the project teams to develop risk mitigation actions, aiming to reduce project risk exposure
• Undertaking risk modelling by using Monte Carlo simulations to estimate confidence levels for CAPEX, DEVEX and OPEX levels, collaborating closely with the Value Engineering function within the PMO team
• Collaborating closely with the planning and interface management functions within the PMO team

Skills and Background:
• Relevant bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or other degree providing a strong foundation in Statistics or Decision Theory
• 5+ years of experience in relevant and similar fields of work. (e.g. complex EPC(I) Construction Projects, large infrastructure projects). Experience in offshore wind is preferred, but not a must-have
• Competences equivalent to PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional)
• Ability and interest to deep-dive into complex analytical issues; mastery of MS Office tools (e.g. Excel) to support these analytics is required
• Excellent coordination and cooperation skills; a team player who is willing and able to work with others to solve problems and share knowledge
• Culturally aware with a high level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, in order to communicate with multinational teammates and management
• Driven by an adventurous spirit and the opportunity to be at the forefront of an emerging market
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity and shape processes and systems
