My client, a global real estate business currently have a requirement for a HR Director Greater China to manage their HR team across the region. Based in HK this role will require travel across the business operations in China and prior experience of managing a HR team in PRC is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading an established team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business 
  • Creating and implementing a HR plan to support business direction and strategy 
  • Managing complex employee relations casework 
  • Influencing and coaching senior managers on a variety of HR issues 
  • Leading on engagement, identifying areas for improvement 
  • Managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment, development and performance 
  • Developing policies for reward alongside group activities 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Generalist who has managed a HR function across China 
  • Mandarin language skills are essential 
  • Strong evidence of leading and delivering as an operational HR generalist, with experience of implementing HR Strategies
  • Excellent working knowledge of China employment legislation and best practice
  • Proven experience of interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures
