Key Responsibilities:
As the Permitting Engineer shall be responsible to support Permitting Manager and other team members by producing and managing applications for consents, permits, authorizations, and approvals for an offshore wind farm in Taiwan.
Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure preparation of the application to secure permits award and permission to construct
  • Ensure authority communication in relation to the application
  • Responsible for management of specific external stakeholders
  • Responsible for maintaining and approval matrix
  • Ensure the interpretation of the requirements in all the permits
  • Support in the interfaces to statutory and non-statutory stakeholders and undertake consultation
  • Support in the robust transfer of permit requirements from development to construction and to O&M
  • Support in the management of project interfaces between permitting and all packages
  • Ensure the tracking and updates of all the commitment identified in the permits
  • Prepare and maintain meeting minutes
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decision from meetings
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Draft official correspondences and letter to the government agencies and other stakeholders

Preferred skills and Technical Requirements

  • 1+ year experience with energy permitting or consent role in Taiwan
  • 3+ years’ experience with renewables energy
  • Strong network of contacts with relevant government or other permitting authorities
