The event offered the opportunity to meet with many insightful experts, innovators and leaders in the energy industry, with a high-profile line-up of keynote speakers and panellists representing both the domestic energy industry and international traders. Some of the highlights included hearing from Hijikata of Tohoku Electric Power Co Inc and Tatsuya Terazawa from Institute of Energy Economics, Japan – IEEJ, Takahiro Izumi of Tohoku Electric Power Co Inc, Yohei Jozaki of Energy Grid (owned by Citadel), Daichi Kamite of BANPU Public Company Limited, Ryunosuke Kuroda of Tokyo Electric Power Company Energy Partners, Jack Anderson, CFA of Shell Energy Japan, Julie Arnold of Dare, Hiromi Moro of ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales Japan, and Bo Palmgren of MFT Energy.
Thank you to the teams at the European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) and Japan Exchange Group (JPX) for organising and programming such an in-depth event that shared the experiences on ‘both sides of the coin’. With over 550 participants from more than 200 companies, a big thanks must also go to the team at Vanir Global Markets and James Whistler for delivering a highly curated and targeted line up of events, and an epic closing party!
