Aurex Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Alex Kerr to Partner. He now joins the firm’s global partnership group from his base in Singapore.

Alex joined the business in 2016 in Hong Kong as part of Aurex Group’s commodities team expansion. He has climbed through the ranks from Consultant to Principal and, more recently, Director. Through this progression, Alex moved to Singapore in 2018 as part of the firm’s investment in enhancing services for key clients in the bulk commodities industry in Asia.

Alex has carved out his specialisation in bulk commodities, metals, agriculture, energy and environmental products, and commodity finance recruitment, fulfilling mandates across both the front and middle office. Having lived in Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong, he has delivered on a wide range of assignments for international and domestic trading houses, producers, investment banks and private equity firms across the commodities supply chain.
