Company Overview:
As an offshore wind developer, our client develops both fixed bottom offshore wind and floating offshore wind power development projects. It has successfully delivered over 10 offshore wind projects globally and has 100+ employees from over 20 countries. There are currently about 10 employees in South Korea.


  • Project manage environmental consultants and other external specialists to deliver successful surveys, environmental consents and other permits required for construction on time and to budget
  • Work with commercial manager, legal and external advisors to secure land rights and leases for the projects
  • Assist in preparing plans and budgets to develop projects through to Financial Close
  • Lead preparation and obtaining of all environmental consents and all other permits for development and construction of offshore wind projects
  • Negotiate and manage consents-related consultancy contracts
  • Prepare detailed project consenting schedules and consenting risk overviews
  • Lead and manage processes for site assessment and project design envelope and design options
  • Plan and manage key site assessment studies (onshore and offshore) including for EIA

An ideal candidate for the position you will have practical experience from similar developing process of large projects, preferably projects with both offshore and onshore parts, insight into the South Korea.

To qualify for this position, you should have;


  • 5+ years professional work experience
  • Proven track record in leading early development of major infrastructure projects
  • Experience in energy related fields
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English to liaise with leadership in the headquarters and Korean in order to liaise with local land owners
  • Experience and track record in influencing, challenging and consulting relevant stakeholders at all levels including local community
  • Experience (or as a minimum good understanding) of the planning and consenting processes in Korea
  • Understanding of early stage project definition, design processes and optimization.
  • Prepared to travel extensively for meetings and events around Korea
