The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) ultimately oversees finance, tax, and audit to drive cost savings, efficient capital allocation, and prudent cash management for one of the Top 20 busiest airports in China.
The DCFO is responsible for overseeing and providing advice on key financial, tax, and audit aspects of the airport / the company, including;

  • Review of the preparation of financial accounts / books, financial reporting, accounting policies, and maintenance of accounting records
  • Review of the identification of potential cost saving initiatives of the airport, and to coordinate with other teams / departments to execute cost saving initiatives
  • Review of all material contracts / transactions to ensure the best interest of the airport (that all contracts are at an arm’s length basis and in accordance to market terms, particularly related party / connected party transactions)
  • Review of the financial budgeting and planning of the airport / company
  • Review of the banking and other financial relationships
  • Review of the financing activities of the airport (both equity and debt)
  • Review of the cash management and treasury operations of the airport
  • Review of all major capital allocations / investments / acquisitions of the airport / the company
  • Review of auditing process and tax management and reporting
  • Formulation and monitoring key financial KPIs


  • Fluency in executive level communication in both English and Chinese as the role will be based in China and requires leading a team of Chinese employees
  • Proven track record in developing, implementing and achieving business strategy
  • 15+ years career experience including at least 5 years working in a similar executive position
  • Demonstrable experience working within highly regulated business operations, including managing Government relations and corporate governance
