Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Manage full contractual responsibility for the wind farm except for turbine package
  • Work closely with the main contractor and subcontractors to understand contractual and commercial managers
  • Identify risks to company leadership and propose solutions
  • Develop a tracking system to identify contract risks and their proposed solutions; certify costs and payments; track insurance claims & vendor claims and their outcomes
  • Build rapport with vendors and propose ways to optimize costs
  • Implement best practices for contract management
  • Assist team members to draft correspondence to vendors or other third parties on contractual and commercial matters

Preferred skills and Technical Requirements

  • 3+ years contract management experience, ideally in offshore wind
  • Must have experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Must have experience managing EPC, civil works, logistics, and electrical contracts
  • Speak and write English with business proficiency in order to liaise with teammates and superiors internationally and as most contracts will be in English
  • Helpful to speak and write in Mandarin fluently in order to vet contracts and negotiate with Taiwanese vendors
  • Technical degree such as legal, quantity surveying, or engineering preferred
