Our client is an established real estate investment firm with an impressive track record of investments and has an active acquisitions pipeline. With further fund raising activities and successful capital committed, our client currently seeks an Associate of Investments to join its investments team in Hong Kong.

The Role: 

As Associate of the Investments team, responsibilities will cover financial modelling and analysis potential real estate transactions

  • Accurate financial modelling and analysis of real estate investment opportunities and approved investment strategies 
  • Underwrite assumptions and testing to optimise returns i.e. capital structure, debt/equity, asset plan, legal and tax structure
  • Update the Investment model, on historic and future cash flows to track forecast investment performance
  • Preparation of coherent and accurate hold/sell analysis providing reliable accurate forecast investment returns on which key decisions can be made
  • Assist in preparations for investor meetings including responsibility for coordinating and delivering the Fund’s quarterly reporting material, preparation of materials for quarterly web casts, Investor Advisory Committee papers and presentations

To be considered for this position, you must be able demonstrate the following skills and experience:

– Degree qualified in Real Estate/Business or Finance related discipline
– Excellent English and Mandarin written and spoken skills
– Outstanding presentation skills and fundamental reporting skills
– 3 to 6 years experience financial modelling within the real estate space is ideal or transaction advisory space with experience in real estate
– Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate and analyse data
