Our client is a successful fund manager based in Melbourne who has an impressive track record covering opportunistic and value-add assets across commercial & industrial assets.

Due to significant growth of newly acquired assets, my client is seeking to hire an experienced and dynamic Asset Manager in Melbourne.


  • Develop, drive and implement appropriate asset management repositioning strategies for their opportunistic and value-add assets
  • Working in conjunction with banks in relation to debt
  • Optimising asset returns
  • Procurement of third-party vendors and consultants
  • Direct and manage marketing and leasing campaigns
  • Working in hands-on capacity to develop and maintain relationships with JV partners, valuers, bankers, tax consultant, operating partners, tenants and all internal stakeholders
  • Participate in key lease negotiations for both lease renewals and new leases to ensure optimal lease terms are achieved
  • Effectively monitor and report the budget, capex and forecasts for the individual assets
  • Manage the asset enhancement initiatives and work closely with project managers and technical team to ensure projects are delivered to meet quality and schedule
  • Assist investment team on asset potential and


  • Degree qualified, preferably in Property, Economics or a Financial related degree, with strong financial acumen
  • Proven Asset Manager with a successful track record deriving value from assets
  • Degree Holder in Real Estate
  • Hold 9-15 years’ experience in leasing and/or asset management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and confident self-starter, strong presentation and report writing skills, and a team player
  • Development experience highly regarded
