Working onsite for a global financial services firm, the APAC Sourcing Lead will undertake activities for the provision of Facilities Management and Capital Project related goods and services. Those responsibilities include stakeholder management with the objectives of:

  • optimizing the number of vendors
  • leveraging purchasing power
  • performance measurement to monitor and improve compliance and operational efficiency
  • benchmarking performance against industry standards all within a robust governance model

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor’s overall performance and monitor risk in internal and external environments 
  • Negotiate appropriate contractual terms within a defined framework 
  • Identify potential risks, implement key controls, and maintain accountability for validating both the company’s and the client’s performance and risk objectives are met through contract adherence 
  • Proactively manage the satisfaction of the business with the vendor to constantly re-evaluate their needs 
  • Work with Stakeholders to agree the strategy and objectives for the delivery of certain goods and services, writing scopes of service, as appropriate
  • Integrate with cross functional teams in the undertaking of sourcing events such as RFIs and RFPs in accordance with accepted industry practices and internal requirements, including drafting RFx questionnaires, conducting vendor due diligence, and evaluating responses and negotiations
  • Prepare and manage contracts with selected service providers, ensuring appropriate commercial and contractual protections including SLAs and KPIs


Key Requirements
  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Architecture or Bachelor’s degree and equivalent industry experience
  • Membership and/or participation in a professional procurement organization preferred
  • Experience of drafting detailed scopes of services
  • Experience in conducting RFI/RFPs to procure Facilities services
  • Experience in a commercial, contractual or operational position managing outsourced providers against contractual obligations
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, including property management and/or project management a plus
  • Exposure to and understanding of legal frameworks and contract law
  • Experience with electronic Sourcing applications such as Ariba
